Requirements

  • A strong practicing interest in the crypto space OR personal or professional experience investing and trading securities through online platforms
  • Well versed in JavaScript and Git Source control
  • Experience with technical testing frameworks such as Selenium, PhantomJS, or Puppeteer / Headless Chrome
  • Experience developing and implementing quality assurance processes
  • Experience using bug tracking software
  • Superior time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a team based environment
  • Experience working with remote QA and development teams
  • Interest in performing manual and automated testing
  • The ingenuity to think of new ways to test and break the product
  • Striving to learn new skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Kraken products and services deliver exceptional quality and reliability through human testing and eventual test automation
  • Access and produce steps to recreate discovered and reported software flaws
  • Work with the product and development teams to create and improve deployment testing processes for the frontend of our platform
  • Develop written test plans for existing screens, feature, and components to ensure product stability
  • Automate tests into scripts that are reliable, sturdy, independent of minor UI changes, and delivering accurate results
  • Document bugs and work with development and product to ensure issues are addressed before release
