At Storj Labs, our mission is to provide the simplest experience to manage object storage infrastructure online. We are looking for a community lead/customer service manager to work with our 10,000+ users, community leaders, and the Storj team.

As the community lead and customer service manager, you will lead an open source community. You are one of the bridges between the company and the users. You will work with the developer evangelist and volunteer community leaders to enable users. This includes but is not limited to: designing and executing large-scale community-building and engagement initiatives, answering tickets on enchant, convey challenges the community faces and help design solutions, and so much more.

Who you are

  • Ability to be cross functional and flexible as needed by the company
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Understand technical details
  • Minimal software experience (i.e. basic coding class in any language)
  • A self-starter who knows how to work within a budget and developer resources

What the job entails

  • Design and execute large-scale community-building and engagement initiatives
  • Organizing community members and communication
  • Fielding and routing support tickets
  • Capturing repeat questions and managing knowledge base and documentation
  • Writing documentation
  • Coordination of teams and priorities

Skills & Requirements

  • 2-4 experience in building and maintaining communities around online platforms and software products
  • Some familiarity with decentralized system, cryptography, and cryptocurrency
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Extrovert that enjoys designing meetups and engagements
  • Enjoys working with users, following up with them, and being their advocate
